Mr. David Lassetter

Mr. David Lassetter, age 55, of LaFayette, GA, died Wednesday, July 15, 2020, in Chattanooga, TN.

Mr. Lassetter was born November 13, 1964, in Carroll County, GA, son of Barbara Ann Agan Young and the late Edwin Douglas Lassetter.  He was Baptist by faith and was a self-employed brick mason.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Virginia Thatch Lassetter; a son, David Lassetter; a daughter, Brittney Ann Lassetter; brother, Douglas Lassetter; a sister, Sherie (Wayne) Dunaway; Kade Lassetter, Chloe Lassetter, Christian Lassetter, Cameron Gantt, and Champion Lassetter.

Graveside services for Mr. Lassetter will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 17, 2020, at Subligna Cemetery with Rev. Dewayne Teague officiating.  Pallbearers will be Mark Fowler, Lance Palmer, Will Dunaway, Wayne Dunaway, and Justin Wood.

Visitation will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or to your favorite charity.

The Lassetter family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home encourage anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings.
