Mr. Danny Ray Cavin

Mr. Danny Ray Cavin, age 65, of Gaylesville, AL, died Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Cavin was born June 24, 1955, in the Chesterfield Community, son of the late Hoyt and Minnie Pearl Cavin.  He was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Best Manufacturing.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Cavin was preceded in death by brothers, Marlin Cavin, David Cavin; sisters, Barbara Lindsey, Peggy Imogene Cavin.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Cavin; sons, Jason Cavin (Anthony), Dusty (Brittany) Cavin, John David Hill; daughter, Amanda (Lewis) Grace; brothers, Ricky (Marie) Cavin, Larry Lindsey; sisters, Sarah Griffin, Judy (Greg) Ledford; grandchildren, Dylan (Kristian) Cavin, Nicholas Grace, Madison Grace, Mackenzie Cavin, Ashlin Grace, Hayden Cavin, Lucas Grace, and Karlee Cavin; great-grandchild, Ryker Cavin; sisters-in-law, Kay Rogers, Karen Popham, Sheila Toles, and Diane Lively; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mr. Cavin will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, November 13, 2020, at AMI Cemetery with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating.  Pallbearers will be Wade Partridge, Andrew Lindsey, Austin Lindsey, Justin Lamar, Jonathan Reynolds, Steve Cavin, “Sweet” Cavin, and Ben Lively.

Visitation will be held privately.

The Cavin family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
