Mr. Curtis L. Ramey

Mr. Curtis L. Ramey, age 87, of Trion, GA, passed away Thursday- April 22, 2021, at a Chattanooga Hospital.

Mr. Ramey was born September 5, 1933, in LaFayette, GA, son of the late Claude Newton Ramey and Beulah Lancaster Ramey.  He was a member of Waterville Baptist Church, and prior to his retirement, worked as a truck driver with Sosebee Trucking Company.  Mr. Ramey was a veteran of the United States Army. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Trammell Ramey; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Yvonne and Garry Lee Chastain.

Survivors include his grandson, Anthony (Wynde) Chastain; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside and interment services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ramey will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday - April 25, 2021 at West Hill Cemetery with Pastor Sam Barrett officiating. His nephews and cousins will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 – 2:30 PM at Mason Funeral home.
