Mr. Charles Edward Mitchell, Sr.

Mr. Charles Edward Mitchell, Sr., age 80, of Villa Rica, GA, died Friday, November 6, 2020, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, GA. 

Mr. Mitchell was born November 20, 1939 to the late Amos Hinton and Clara Bell Warren Mitchell.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Greg Mitchell a brother, Gary Mitchell, and a sister, Lucy Mitchell.

He is survived by one son, Charles “Ed” Mitchell, Jr.; four sisters, Alice Black, Shirley Meek, Bonnie Sharpe and Isabell Zolnick;  3 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of  Mr. Mitchell will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. in Greenhills Memory Gardens with Rev. Kevin J. Norton officiating.  Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

Visitation will be held privately.

The Mitchell family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
