Mr. Carl Marion Fowler

Mr. Carl Marion Fowler, Jr., age 91, of Summerville, GA, died Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Morning Pointe of Calhoun.

Mr. Fowler was born September 2, 1929, in Birmingham, AL, son of the late Carl Marion Fowler, Sr. and Rebecca Ester Linderman Fowler.  Mr. Fowler was a career military man, having retired from the United States Air Force.  He loved to help other people and loved to work on houses and especially cars.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Fowler; sisters, Louise Williams, Marie Plunkett, and Pauline Ball.

Survivors include his wife, Janie Agnus Cordle Fowler; sons, Kenneth Dale (Carol) Fowler, Keith Raymond Fowler, and Kevin (Denise) Fowler; daughter, Carla (Jimmy) Roberts; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 31,2020, at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
