Mr. Buford Daniel "Danny" Wilcox

Mr. Buford Daniel “Danny” Wilcox, age 66, of Mentone, AL, died Saturday, May 2, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Wilcox was born November 8, 1953, in Centre, AL, son of the late Buford Daniel and Mamie Lucile Jenkins Wilcox.  He was a member of Berryton Baptist Church, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Fruit of the Loom.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilcox was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Duncan.

Survivors include his wife, Esther Jones Wilcox; sons, Chris (Ashley) Wilcox, Bryan Wilcox, Josh (Alyse) Wilcox; a daughter, Ashley Wilcox; brothers, Rickey Wilcox and Tommy Giles; sister, Teresa (David) Crawford; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Due to the current restrictions and health concerns for our community, visitation and services for Mr. Wilcox will be held privately.  Private interment will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Mickey Skates officiating.  Pallbearers will be Lance Buice, Drew Dotson, Raymond Jones, Jr., Harley Elliott, Lance Gazaway, and Kenny Lowenberg.
