Bill Holland Bandy passed away peacefully, with his wife and daughters by his side on April 5, 2022.
Bill spent his childhood years on his parents’ dairy farm. He grew up learning about hard work. As a young boy, he was a bit of a daredevil as he was seen frequently riding his motorcycle around the farm. He loved horses and dogs.
He dearly loved his family. He was a devoted and faithful Christian, son, brother, husband, and father. Bill enjoyed helping and serving others. He was a generous man who was always there for others, providing a helping hand. He was a self-taught carpenter; he was incredibly talented and could build anything. Bill was a dedicated long-time employee of Shaw Industries and served as a process engineer. He was proud of his work accomplishments and loved his work family.
Anyone who knew Bill was touched by his humor and kindness. He was known for his quick wit, his use of puns and his dad jokes. Bill had a unique view of life and found the humor in most every situation. He always made us laugh.
If love alone could have saved Bill, he would be with us. Bill Bandy was respected by many, loved by all, and his impact on our lives will be with us always.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Faye Nell Bandy; grandparents, Horace and Erveen Searels, T. J. and Martha Bandy; father-in-law, Joe Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Reynolds Bandy; daughters, Autumn Bandy (Collin Cooper), Ansley Bandy (Branson Bowman), and Allie Bandy; brothers, LaDon (Sherry) Bandy, Dennis (Karen) Bandy; sister-in-law, Emily (James) Ciavarro; brother-in-law, Jeff (Janet) Reynolds.
