Miss Jessica "Bee" Terry

Miss Jessica “Bee” Denise Terry, age 38, of Summerville, GA, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, at her residence.

Miss Terry was born November 27, 1983, in Rome, GA, daughter of Jeffery Terry and Kathy Denise Abernathy Terry.  She was a member of United By Faith Church.  She loved traveling, talking on her cell phone, and spending time with her family and friends.  She also loved playing Uno, eating candy and chewing bubble gum, and was an avid fan of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, David and Shirley Abernathy, Bud Harriel, and Jack Terry.

Survivors include her mother, Kathy Terry, father, Jeffery Terry; step-father, Ray Bridges; sister, Jenna Terry (Darin McGuire); step-brothers, Corey (Karen) Bridges, Jeff Bridges; grandmother, Joy Harriel; nephew, Joshua McGuire; niece, Jayci McGuire; and her very special friend, Marie Broyles.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Caldwell, Rev. David Dutton, and Ms. Marie Broyles officiating.  Interment will follow in Lyerly Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Jake Dawson, Randall Abernathy, Billy Abernathy, James Abernathy, Dewayne Clark, and Curtis Cochran.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Tapestry Hospice and her fellow graduates of the Chattooga High School Class of 2003.

Miss Terry will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday.
