Mrs. Ruth Reece Griffith, age 88, of Menlo, GA, died Thursday, June 10, 2021, at her daughter's residence in Trion, GA.

Mrs. Griffith was born August 30, 1932, in Menlo, GA, daughter of the late Robert M. and Mattie Lawson Reece.  She attended Menlo First Baptist Church and was previously a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Best Manufacturing where she was also a member of the Best Silver Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Griffith; brothers, John Reece, Leroy Reece, Bill Reece, and David Reece; and a sister, Mae Purcell.

Survivors include her daughter, Pat (Andy) Tudor; sister, Robbie (Al) Kopacka; grandchildren, Michael (Heather) Butler, Amanda Butler; and great-grandchild, Abby Butler.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at AMI Cemetery with Rev. Matt Hall officiating.  Active pallbearers will be Michael Butler, Johnny Pledger, Carl Griffith, Max Treadaway, Dempsey Lawson, and Matthew Treadaway.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Women's Sunday School Class of the Menlo First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held privately.
