Ms. Yvonne Marie Usry, age 66, of Trion, GA, died Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Floyd Medical Center.

Ms. Usry was born January 2, 1956, in LaFayette, GA, daughter of Helen VanPelt Williams and the late J D Gill.  She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Randall Chase Leslie; and a brother, Jeffrey Don Gill.

Survivors include her daughter, Whitney (Matthew) Whitmire; mother, Helen (Kenneth) Williams; brothers, Doug Gill, Marty Gill; sisters, Sandra (Greg) Tomlin, Rhonda Williams, Janice (Rickey) Gill; grandchildren, Violet Perry, Chase Whitmire, and Magnolia Whitmire.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 24, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Hutchins officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Casey Howard, Jacob Gill, Ricardo Price, Jesse Gill, Adam Gill, and Josh Powell.

Ms. Usry will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
