Miss Peggy Lynn Hines, age 70, of Summerville, GA, died Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Peggy was born July 20, 1955, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Charles Mitchell Hines and Pauline Estelle Elliott Hines.  In her younger years, she had attended Spring Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Deborah Hines Battles.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Tina Hines; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Matthew Willingham officiating.

Miss Hines will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday.
