Ms. Leslie Lynn Hunt Busby, age 58, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at Advent Health Redmond.

Ms. Busby was born July 29, 1963, in Lincoln County, SD, daughter of the late Merlin Oscar Hunt and Elvina June Klingham Hunt.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Mohawk Industries.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Busby was preceded in death by her brothers, Kevin Hunt, Craig Hunt, and Keith Hunt.

Survivors include sons, Andrew Busby and Jamie Busby; daughter, Brandy Jackson; long-time companion, Carlton Battles; a sister, Iris Tooley; and 3 grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 17, 2022, at West Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Kevin J. Norton officiating.

Ms. Busby will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. on Thursday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
