Ms. Jane Beaufort Noel, age 71, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025.

She was born in Richmond, VA, on July 28, 1954, the beloved daughter of the late Beaufort Shelton Noel and Dorthy Elizabeth Whitelegg.

A proud graduate of Berry College, Jane lived a life enriched by her love of learning and many passions.  She found joy in reading, riding horses, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her cherished dog, Delta.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Steenbergen.

She is survived by her son, Taylor Jones; daughters, Jessica Jones and Michelle Jones; grandchildren, Jordan Hill, DaCarter Allen, and Lettie Allen; and a sister, Martha Smith.

Jane will be cremated and returned to her family plot in Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA, where she will rest among generations of loved ones.
