Obituary

Emily Sarah Belle Tinker, 31, formerly of Ringgold, left this world and gained her angel wings on June 23, 2025.

Emily was proceeded in death by her brother and best friend Jonathan Tinker. Emily and Jon had a wonderful love for each other that most siblings only long to possess. She is also proceeded by her grandfather Steve Sweet, grandmother Bettye Tinker, great grandmother Laura Sweet, and her father.

Emily is survived by her beautiful daughters Zoie Tinker(and her father Mashaun Henderson) and Millie Tinker, her mother Jenni (David) Wilbanks, and her special niece Lily Tinker. Also surviving are her grandparents Elaine and Gary Jeffers, special aunts and uncles Beth Peters (Ralph Van Pelt) and Stephen (Monica) Sweet, her loving great aunts and uncle Beverly and Pete Bowman and Mary Sweet, her dedicated friend Dustin Shinnefield and Zoie's grandmother Priscilla Henderson. Several cousins, and other aunts, uncles, and grandparents are also surviving.

Emily was a graduate of Heritage High School and of the Methodist faith. Regardless of her hardships, she always had a kind word for those she loved. Every phone call ended with an "I love you" and every visit ended with a hug. She loved her girls with her whole heart, just as they loved her. We will miss her greatly, but we will always remember her for her infectious spirit and loving soul. We will also always be grateful to her for giving us Zoie and Millie.

We invite our friends and family and all who loved Em to join us for a visitation to be held at Woodstation Church (13198 Alabama Highway, Ringgold, GA) on Sunday, June 29th from 2:00pm until 7:00pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the Zoie and Millie Tinker Educational Fund at Builtwell Bank in Ringgold, GA.
