Ms. Carolyn Denise Anderson, age 64, of Summerville, GA exchanged her earthly home for her Heavenly home on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Anderson was born August 20, 1957, at Riegel Community Hospital in Trion, GA, to the late Ernest Theodore and Francis Starling Anderson.  She graduated from Chattooga High School in 1975 and prior to her retirement, was employed with Mount Vernon Mills for 32 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Barbara Anderson, Earnestine Adams, and Ruby Mae Strickland.

Precious memories will remain in the hearts of her long-term fiancé, James Davis; son, Tarius (Sherri) Anderson; daughter, Sabrina (Kenneth) Ervin; sister, Ella Fain; granddaughters, TaMiracle Anderson, Belle Anderson; great-grandchild, Grayson Barber; special friend, Lynn Smith; nephews, Dave Fain III, Robert Anderson, and George Adams.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Apostle Jennifer London officiating.

Ms. Anderson will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
