Mrs. Vienna Grizzle Jones, age 74, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, May 20, 2024, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Mrs. Jones was born June 28, 1949, in Dahlonega, GA, daughter of the late George Tate Grizzle and Mozella Margaret Ridley Grizzle.  She was a homemaker and a member of Subligna Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Velma Sullens, Vinnie Rodgers, Violet Blackwell, Verbie McClure, and Vivian Grizzle; brothers, Vernon Grizzle, Venson Grizzle, Verlon Grizzle, and Virgil Grizzle.

Survivors include her sons, Roger (Donna) Grizzle, Ricky (Berenice) Jones; daughter, Brenda (Henry) Snelgrove; sisters, Verdie Grizzle, Viola (Charlie) Holden; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and her friend/sister, Cricket.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Subligna Cemetery with family officiating.  Pallbearers will be Roger Grizzle, Ricky Jones, Henry Snelgrove, Brandon Jones, Anthony Head, Frank Ray, Caleb Lingerfelt, and Brad Thacker.

Mrs. Jones will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
