Mrs. Sherry Elaine Broyles Thompson, age 59, of Summerville, GA, died Friday, July 9, 2021, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mrs. Thompson was born February 5, 1962, in Summerville, GA, daughter of Marie Ellen Winters Broyles and the late Billy Richard Broyles.  She was Baptist by faith and was previously employed with Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Randall "Randy" Thompson; step-son, Corey Thompson; grandparents, Elmer and Jessie Mae Winters, Tom Broyles, and Irene Hastings Miller.

Survivors include her daughter, Heather (Patrick) Moore; son, Billy Thompson; brothers, Gary (Tammy) Broyles, Steve (Lucy) Broyles; sister, Deborah Morgan; grandchildren, R J Westbrook, Brianna Westbrook; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 11, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jake Morrison officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Adam Fink, Hunter Lindsey, Jordan Morgan, Gaige Phillips, Chris Phillips, and Allen Martin.  Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Lail and Jason Morgan.

Mrs. Thompson will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Sunday.
