Mrs. Sherry Lizbeth Strubel Call, age 73, of Gaylesville, AL, died Sunday, January 12, in a Rome, GA hospital.

Mrs. Call was born June 9, 1951, in Elmhurst, IL, daughter of the late Bernard and Rita Pulley Strubel. She was a rural mail carrier with the US Postal Service, where she retired. She graduated from Southern Illinois University, was a true artist, loved sewing and designing clothes, had a degree as a Gold Smith, and loved gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Clayton Call;  Sisters, Joyce (Rick) Drees; Nieces, Sara Drees, Danielle Strubel, Lyndzee Riley;  Nephews, Jacob Drees, Cameron Drees.

According to her wishes a memorial service will be held at a later date.
