Ms. Sara Ann Palmer, age 80, of Summerville, GA, died Saturday, November 26, 2022, at her residence.

Ms. Palmer was born January 17, 1942, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Grady Lewis Gaines and Florence Wise Gaines.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, David Palmer; grandson, Tyler Palmer; great-granddaughter, Ansley Blaire Keith Palmer; brothers, Robert Gaines and George Gaines.

Survivors include her children, Ricky (LeAnne) Palmer, Scott (Jennifer) Palmer, RoxAnn Palmer (Benny Humphreys), Wendy Wofford; special daughter, Regina Daley; sisters, Jo Smith, Gail (Leon) Rowlls; the father of her children, LaDon Palmer; 8 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ms. Palmer will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Shaver officiating.  Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ross Palmer, Jacob Wofford, Scott Palmer, Mike Gaines, Johnny Smith, Gavin Palmer and Jason Smith.

Ms. Palmer will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Tuesday.
