Mrs. Robbie JoAnn King Strickland, age 88, of Trion, GA, died Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Pruitt Healthcare of Rome.

Mrs. Strickland was born December 18, 1933, in Menlo, GA, daughter of the late Robert E. and Ruby Espy King.  She was a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Best Manufacturing.  Mrs. Strickland enjoyed playing the piano.  She loved Jesus, her grandkids, and great-grandkids.  She was selfless, humble, and would do anything for anyone.  You also never left her home without eating.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Strickland; daughter, Gayle Brenwald; and sister, Sue King.

Survivors include her son, Denny (Trena) Strickland; son-in-law, Mike Brenwald; grandchildren, Amy (Steve) Helms, Christy (Mark) Finster, Kevin (Becky) Payton; 6 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 4, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brandon Bishop and Rev. John Leatherwood officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Active pallbearers will be Rickey Tucker, Steve Helms, Larry Gilreath, Wayne Tallent, Mike Brenwald, and Mark Finster.  Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Central Avenue Baptist Church.

Mrs. Strickland will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Friday.
