Mrs. Phyllis Elem Parish, age 85, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, February 13, 2023, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Mrs. Parish was born October 8, 1937, in Nashville, TN, daughter of the late Horace Max Sneed and Susie Ella Roberts Sneed.  Prior to her retirement, she was a self-employed caretaker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parish was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Bud" Elem.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Ruby Jackson, Crystal Parish, Gayla Dempsey, Casey Parish, and Justin Parish; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside inurnment services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Greenhills Memory Gardens with Rev. Steve Burns officiating.

There will be no visitation.
