Mrs. Nina Sue Smith age 84 of Gaylesville, AL passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 at her residence.

Mrs. Smith was born December 25, 1941 in Sylvania, AL to the late Lenard E. and Thelma Grimes Bryson. She was of the Christian faith and was retired from Galley & Lord.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin W. Smith and 2 children.

Other family members include her children, T.J. (Erica) Hill, Julie Allen, Ira Madden, Paula Lewis, and Jennifer Johnson; brother, Fred Bryson; 14 grandchildren: 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family of Mrs. Smith will schedule a celebration of life at a later date.
