Mrs. Nadine Maynard Espy, age 78, of Summerville, GA, died Friday, September 17, 2021, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mrs. Espy was born September 30, 1942, in Cloudland, GA, daughter of the late Gibson Maynard and Jewell Deering Maynard.  She was a member of Perennial Springs Baptist Church and was retired from The Summerville News.  She had also been employed at Hays C.I.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas "Bill" Espy; brothers, Buster Maynard, Austin Maynard, and Glenn Maynard; sisters, Letha Pickle and Melinda Floyd; grandsons, Wyatt Gilreath and Wilder Gilreath.

Survivors include her sons, Charles (Paula) Gilreath, Raymond Douglas Gilreath; sisters, Debbie Cooper, Sandra Corbin, Alice Ballinger, and Brenda Hughes; grandchildren, Mason (Korea) Gilreath, Charlie Sophia Gilreath, and Hadley Gilreath; great-grandchildren, Coleman Gilreath, Harbor Gilreath, and Payton Gilreath.

Graveside and interment services will be held privately at Summerville Cemetery.
