Mrs. Mary Grubiak Cook Schroeder, age 99, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, August 19, 2024, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Schroeder was born October 11, 1924, in Bethlehem, PA, daughter of the late Michael and Kastina Serafin Grubiak.  She was a member of the Saint Phillips of the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Clifton, NJ, and prior to her retirement, she was employed in retail sales.

In addition o her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Cook; second husband, Albert Schroeder; several brothers and sisters; step-sons, Bruce Schroeder, Albert "Butch" Schroeder.

Survivors include her son, Roy (Machelle) Cook; daughters, Fran Cook, Connie Mikovits, and Connie Petito; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Schroeder will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Johnson Cemetery with Chaplain Matthew Willingham officiating.

There will be no visitation and those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
