Mrs. Mary Frances Payne, age 75, of Summerville, GA, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Payne was born April 11, 1946, in LaFayette, GA, daughter of the late Henry Robert and Sophrania Hise Collins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Butler; and the father of her children, Monroe Butler.

Survivors include her husband, Jean Payne; son, Ruben Butler; half brothers, Eddie Murdock, James Murdock, and Larry Murdock.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Payne was cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
