Mrs. Mary Magdalene Sims Crane, age 89, of Summerville, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Crane was born March 12, 1932, in Lyerly, GA.  She was a member of Berryton Faith Temple and was retired from Georgia Glove Mill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Whittle; sisters, Marvelene Devalt, Christine Gary, Clevidale Hawkins; brothers, Alfred Sims, Richard "Merdie" Sims, Fred "Doodle" Smith, and Jack West.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Crane; daughter, Charlotte Caroll (John Woodruff); brother, Felton Sims; 8 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, September 13, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Mann and Rev. Jason Boyd officiating.  Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Harold Timmons, Leroy Evans, Gary Rape, Delbert Patty, Frankie McDaniel, and Ricky Sims.

Mrs. Crane will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Monday.

Due to current community health concerns, face masks and the use of hand sanitizer will be requested for anyone attending the services.
