Mrs. Judy Faye Ashley Hughes, age 75, of Summerville, GA, passed away Friday- April 29, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Hughes was born January 15, 1947, in Golden, MS, to the late Earble and Ollie Swindle Ashley. She was retired from Dixie Auto Sales and enjoyed Traveling and shopping.  She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walton David Hughes; brother, Harold Ashley; and great-grandchild, Easton Morris.

Survivors include her children, Joey Hughes (Lisa Hall) and Sandy (Darell) Wheat; brother, Tommy (Cindy) Ashley; grandchildren, Ashley (Ben) Faulkner and Abbi Wheat; and great-grandchildren Grayson Eirick and Grace Faulkner.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Hughes will take place at 3:00 Sunday- May 1 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Wells officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery with Marty Rogers, Lydale Hughes, Blake Hughes, Lamar Hughes, Nick Hughes, Danny Murdock, and David Mitchell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Michelle Tapp and the staff of Tapestry Hospice.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 until the service hour.
