Mrs. Joyce Lee Womack Cleveland, age 59, of Lyerly, GA, died Monday, February 21, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Cleveland was born July 1, 1962, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Eugene and Agnes Allene Elrod Womack.  She was Baptist by faith and had been employed with Best Manufacturing.  She enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Stancil.

Survivors include her husband, Jackie Calvin Cleveland; sons, Brandon Cleveland (Heather Smith), Jacob Cleveland; a brother, John (Christy) Mize, Jr.; sisters, Tina Steele, Linda (Alvin) Bryan; and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 24, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Alvin Bryan, Steve Wigley, Chuck Noles, Jim Cleveland, Billy Kellett, and Chad Brown.  Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Sumner, Shane Hurley, and Kenneth Hines.

Mrs. Cleveland will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Thursday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
