Mrs. Jessica Nicole "Jessie" Slawson Smith, age 34, of Trion, GA, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mrs. Smith was born July 29, 1987, in Ohio, daughter of the late Bonnie Slawson and Scott Gilbert.  She was employed with Vanguard and enjoyed drawing and painting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Scotty "Scooter" Slawson.

Survivors include the father of her children, Jeff Smith; sons, Adam Smith, Jr. and Julian Smith; daughters, Audrey Smith, Samantha Smith, and Akira Smith; husband, Daniel Franks; a brother, Daniel Gilbert; sisters, Jennifer Gilbert and Juanita Collins; 2 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Kevin J. Norton officiating.

Mrs. Smith will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
