Mrs. Margaret Jeanette Gentry, age 62, of LaFayette, GA, died Thursday, November 28, 2024, at her son's residence in Trion, GA.

Mrs. Gentry was born January 17, 1962, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late William F. and Margaret Ellen Ledford Rich.  She had attended Teloga Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, had been employed with Mount Vernon Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, December Lynn Gentry.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Lewis "Euts" Gentry; son, Chris (Alison) Gentry; daughter, Bobbie (Jerry) Ballew; sisters, Frances (Jimmy) Reynolds, Ann (Bobby) Payne, and Angie (Steed) Hart; grandchildren, Emmaleigh Gentry, Katelynne Gentry, Hunter Gentry, and Talon Ballew.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Gentry Family Cemetery located at 1208 Cummings Road in Trion, GA, with Bro. Steve Collins officiating.  Pallbearers will be Jeff Edge, Jeff Edge, Jr., Steven Edwards, Randall Hines, Tony Smith, Kadin Smith, and Brantley Smith.

Mrs. Gentry will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:30 P.M. on Sunday.
