Mrs. Ive Knight Spears age 77, of Readyville, TN, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center.

Mrs. Ive was born February 18, 1944, in Higdon, AL, daughter of the late Walter Eli and Tinnie Carol Knight.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Lab Technician with Heritage Breeders.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Harry (Sylina) Young; daughter, Jennifer Young; step-son, Todd (Angie) Spears; brother, Ivon Knight; sisters, Ida Gaddis, Inafaye Knight, Inez Hartline, and Ilamae Hill; and grandchildren, Justin and Michael Cagle.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 28, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Daniel Driver officiating.  Entombment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Matthew Faciane, Mark Knight, Caleb Mule, Nicholas Driver, Randy Rush, and Troy Oehlson.

Mrs. Ive will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 27, 2021.
