Mrs. Imogene Patterson Tidmore age 86 of Summerville, GA passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026 at a local healthcare facility.

Mrs. Tidmore was born June 9, 1940 in Fort Payne, AL to the late Arnold and Effie Schrader Patterson. She was retired from Shaw Industries and was of the Church of God Faith.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Tidmore; and her siblings, Johnny Patterson, D.L. Patterson, Bobby Patterson, and Doris Headrick.

Survivors include her children, Jamey (Marcia) Tidmore and Tammie Lay; grandchildren, Turner Lay, Jared Lay, and Zach Mildren; great-grandchildren, Phoebe Lay and Cedar Lay; siblings, Charles Patterson, Emma Crawford, Dovie Patterson, and Kathleen Lowry; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Tidmore will take place at 2:00 PM Friday, July 24 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Turner Lay officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday (July 24) from 12:00 noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
