Mrs. Gale Boyd Holland, age 73, of Rome, GA, died Sunday, January 2, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Holland was born January 26, 1948, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late J.C. and Marie Hughes Boyd.  Prior to her retirement, she served as an Assistant Vice President with Wachovia Bank.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Boyd; sisters, Sandra Davis, Alice Faye Boyd.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Holland; sisters, Vicki (Donnie) Moss, Janice (D.C.) Shrader; several nieces and nephews; and her furbabies, Roxie and Wishbone.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Holland will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Active pallbearers will be Dalton Bowman, Bradley Bowman, Todd Shrader, Dustin Moss, Brandon Hollis, and Barry Bowman.  Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Johnson and Dalton Bowman.

Mrs. Holland will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 P.M. on Thursday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
