Mrs. Dorothy Joyce "Dot" Wright, age 91, of Menlo, GA, died Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Wright was born September 16, 1932, daughter of the late George and Glennie Irene Anderson Vaughn.  She was a member of Chelsea Baptist Church and was retired from Mohawk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wright; siblings, Evelyn Jennings, George "Bean" Vaughn, Charles "Dick" Vaugh, and Clyde "Wink" Vaughn.

Survivors include her son, Charles Edward "Dickie" (Kimberly) Vaughn; daughters, Dwana (John) VanHorn, Janice (Ben) Hix; a brother, Pete Vaughn; sisters, Betty (W.A.) Parker, Teresa (C.W.) Ray, and Ann Salyers; and 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 14, 2024, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Lemons officiating.  Interment will follow in AMI Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Dickie Vaughn, John VanHorn, Tyler VanHorn, Noah Vaughn, Gary Vaughn, and Casey Ray.

Mrs. Wright will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Sunday.
