Mrs. Donna Irene Brown, age 69, of Cloudland, GA, died Thursday, December 14, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Brown was born September 20, 1954, in Dromara, Northern Ireland, daughter of the late Ernest Edward Hamilton Porter and Irene Elizabeth Stewart Porter.  She was of the Presbyterian Faith, and prior to her retirement, was employed with the Chattooga County School System.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dean Brown; and a brother, Ross Porter.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Ashley Brown, John Ross Brown, David Hamilton Brown, and Michael Lance Brown; step-daughters, Deborah Kay Brooks and Charlotte Michelle (Abram) Wall; a sister, Diane Murial Porter; and grandchildren, Audree Claire Brown, Grace Wall, Liam Wall, Ethan Wall, Richard Brooks, Candice Brooks, and Chantal Brooks

Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Willingham officiating.  Interment will follow in Tate Family Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be John Ross Brown, David Hamilton Brown, Michael Lance Brown, Joseph Barragan, Jason John Ernest Porter, and Abram Wall.

Mrs. Brown will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department, the Salvation Army, or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
