Mrs. Deviah Ann Gilliland, age 76, of Summerville, GA, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Gilliland was born May 21, 1945, in Armuchee, GA, daughter of the late Arnold Joe and Jeanette Wilson Holloway.  She was a member of United By Faith Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed in the textile industry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Gilliland; sister, Elaine Mitchell; grandson, Jake Gilliland; and a nephew, Tim Pierce.

Survivors include sons, Lamar (Marjorie) Gilliland, Kevin (Holley) Gilliland; sisters, Imogene Cook, Peggy Pierce, and Jody Morrison; grandchildren, Jamie Gentry and Logan Gilliland.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 5, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Toby Morrison, Scott Cook, Greg Cook, Joey Mitchell,  Logan Gilliland, and Kelly Henderson.

Mrs. Gilliland will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Saturday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
