Mrs. Dawn Renee Bernabe Drake, age 59, of Gaylesville, AL, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Drake was born May 18, 1962, in Charlotte, NC, daughter of the late Benny Jonnie Bernabe.  She was Baptist by faith and was employed with Mount Vernon Mills.  Mrs. Drake enjoyed hunting for rocks and arrowheads, and she loved horses.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Williams.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Drake; sons, Corey (April) Drake, Robert Drake; grandchildren, Samantha Williams, Isabell Williams, Jaxon Drake, Destiny Drake, Coulton Trautman, and Westin Coovert.

Memorial services for Mrs. Drake will be held at 4:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Steve Burns officiating.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday.

Due to current community health concerns, face masks and the use of hand sanitizer will be requested for anyone attending the services.
