Mrs. Charlotte Laverne Brown, age 69, of Trion, GA, died Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Mrs. Brown was born January 9, 1956, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Roy T. and Tressie Collins Bryant.  She was homemaker and attended New Beginnings Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Barbara and Janice.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Brown; sons, Richard "Clay" (Gretchen) Brown, Ronald (Jerrie Lynn) Edwards, Dewayne (Cricket) Edwards, Tommy (Melissa) Edwards, Bobby (Amy) Knowles, and Chris (Mary Ann) Wade; a daughter, Sissy (Charlie) Hawkins; 12 siblings; 30 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, September 29, 2025, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Shaver officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Clay Brown, Ronald Edwards, Dewayne Edwards, Tommy Edwards, Chris Wade, and Bobby Knowles.  Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

Mrs. Brown will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Monday.
