Mrs. Brenda Gail Pierce Franklin, age 56, of Summerville, GA, died Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Advent Health Redmond.

Mrs. Franklin was born May 14, 1965, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Jimmy Fay and Brenda Sue Timmons Pierce.  She had attended New Beginnings Baptist Church and was retired from Mohawk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Michelle Franklin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Survivors include her husband, James Franklin; brother, Isaiah Pierce (Katelyn Vandahorn); sisters, Lynn (Jimmy) Collins, Mary (Tim) York, Amanda Pierce, Amy Robinson (Donnie Hudson).

Funeral services for Mrs. Franklin will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 10, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Randall Franklin, Stacey Robinson, Pete Crabtree, Josh Collins, Johnathon Hudson, and Jerry Timmons.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Collins, Donnie Hudson, Tim York, and Richard Robinson.

Mrs. Franklin will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Thursday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
