Ms. Brenda Joan Bearden, age 74, of Summerville, GA, died Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Ms. Bearden was born December 25, 1950, in LaFayette, GA, daughter of Ann Martin and the late Jack Doyle Warren, Sr.  Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She was most recently employed at the Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center, but had previously worked at Redmond Regional Medical Center as well as the former Chattooga County Hospital.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Warren, Jr.; and step-father, Billy J. Martin, Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Todd Bearden, James (Diane) Bearden, and Zack Bearden; mother, Ann Martin; brother, Billy J. (Cindy) Martin, Jr.; grandchildren, Jared Bearden, Laikyn Harper, and Ian Harper; and an aunt, Pam Abernathy.

Memorial graveside and inurnment services will be planned at a later date.
