Mrs. Bettye Louise Parker, age 94, of Gaylesville, AL, died Friday, October 24, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Parker was born November 2, 1930, in Wheelwright, KY, daughter of the late George and Glennie Anderson Vaughn.  Mrs. Parker loved her family and children.  She was the happiest when she was taking care of her children and all the children she babysat.  She also loved gardening and cooking for her family and thrived on keeping her house spotless.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.A. Parker; son, Mike "Fuzz" Parker; brothers, Dick Vaughn, George Vaughn, Jr., and Clyde Vaughn; sisters, Evelyn Jennings, Dot Wright, and Teresa Ray.

Survivors include her son, Tony Parker; daughters, Debbie (Ernie) Hester, Sheila (Donnie) Bullard, Bonnie (Dan) Bullard, and Pam (Frog) Mason; a brother, Pete Vaughn; sister, Liz Saylors; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at AMI Cemetery with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating.  Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Blake Bullard, Adam Hester, Kyle Bullard, and Derek Bullard.  Honorary pallbearers will be her son-in-laws, Ernie Hester, Dan Bullard, Donnie Bullard, and Frog Mason.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home, but the family would like to invite all friends and family members to assemble at AMI Cemetery just prior to the service time.
