Mrs. Ann Faye Young, age 82, of Summerville, GA, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Young was born March 4, 1939, in Spring Creek, AL, daughter of the late Arthur Shamblin Tucker and Agnes S. O'Donnell Tucker.  She was a homemaker and a member of Lyerly Congregational Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Bowers, Betty Joyce Tucker, and Bonnie Spears.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Young; sons, Tim (Terri) Young, Gary (Diane) Young; a daughter, Cindy Todd; brother, Donald (Irma) Tucker; sisters, Dorothy Harrelson and Peggy Doherty; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Greenhills Memory Gardens with Rev. Randy Harrelson officiating.  Pallbearers will be Jarin Blevins, Daniel Blevins, Logan Blevins, Ethan Young, Gavin Young, Garrett Young, Spencer Young, and Cain Smith.

Mrs. Young will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:30 A.M. Thursday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
