Mrs. Ann Dye Espy Norton, age 96, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, May 6, 2024, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Norton was born September 23, 1927, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Richard Jackson Dye, Sr. and Eunice Baggett Dye.  She was a member of Lyerly First Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Best Manufacturing.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Norton was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannie Espy Agnew Griffin; brothers, Bill Dye, Richard Dye, Jr.; and a step-daughter, Faith Norton Hawkins.

Survivors include her grandson, Clinton H. (Summer) Agnew, Jr.; great-grandson, Clinton, H. Agnew, III; step-children, Betty Norton Tyson, Pamela (John) Norton Raines, and Kelly (Joy) Norton, Jr.; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Mary Baggett.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Norton was cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
