Mrs. Angelia "Darlene" Webb Floyd, age 64, of Mentone, AL, died Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Mrs. Floyd was born December 23, 1959, in Trion, GA, daughter of Barbara Elaine Morgan Webb and the late Grady Monroe Webb.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed with the Mentone Mountain View Inn as the inn keeper and manager.

Darlene Floyd was a person who found happiness in the simple pleasures: family, friends, and sunshine. She lived for the days that she could sit on her back porch with her husband, Jerry, beside her, watching their grandkids play and laughing with those around them or walking the shorelines of Daytona Beach. She never met a stranger and had a knack for carrying on a conversation with anyone she met.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant sister as well as her sister, Kathy Webb Henderson.

Survivors include her husband, William Franklin Jerome "Jerry" Floyd; sons, Johnathan Levi Jerome (Candita) Floyd, Nicklos Andrew Morgan (Kelly) Floyd; daughters, Laura Hope Elaine (Benjamin) Windom; mother, Barbara Elaine Morgan Webb; brothers, Steven (Christy) Webb, Jeremy (Lindsey) Webb; and 10 grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mrs. Floyd will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Cat Reynolds officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Crossworks Thrift Store in Fort Payne, AL.
