Mr. William Stanley Moore, age 72, of Menlo, GA, died Friday, January 19, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Moore was born February 10, 1951, in LaFayette, GA, son of the late William Van Moore and Edith Cavell Jones Moore.  Mr. Moore served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.  Prior to his retirement, he was a truck driver for Shaw.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hixon Moore; sons, Stanley Heath Moore and Justin Todd Moore; daughter, Jamie Erin Moore; brother, James Mitchell Moore; 3 grandchildren; and 1 step-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mr. Moore will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Willingham officiating.  Interment with military honors will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 12:30 P.M. Thursday, January 25, 2024.

Mr. Moore will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Wednesday.
