Mr. William "Bill" Robert Hawkins, age 77 of Centre, AL passed away Wednesday- November 24, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Hawkins was born October 5, 1944, in Summerville, GA to the late John A. and Josephine Henson Hawkins. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his children, Jeff and Anna Hawkins, Bobby Hawkins, Brian Hawkins, and Tracey O'Connell; sister, Barbara; and 7 grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services to celebrate the life of Mr. Hawkins will take place at 2:00 Friday- December 3, 2021 at the pavilion of Chattanooga National Veterans Cemetery with military honors and Chaplin Steve Burns officiating.

There will be no visitation and anyone attending the graveside service is asked to line up in front of the cemetery office at 1:50 on Friday.

Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
