Mr. Terry Olin Woody, age 51, of the Little Sand Mountain Community, died Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Mr. Woody was born November 25, 1974, in Rome, GA, son of Mary Woody Henderson and the late Terry Wayne Woody. He was of the Christian faith and was employed with Mohawk Industries.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Charlotte Woody.

Survivors include his sons, Hunter (Brianna) Woody, Josh (Taylor) Vaughn, Richard (Karlie) Sims, Daniel Scott (Brittany Pettyjohn); daughters, Chrissy Woody, Jessica (Cory) Reece; life partner, Linda “Sissy” Hogue; mother, Mary Woody Henderson;  Step Father, Ike Henderson; brother, Chris Blanks; sisters, Lisa Hampton, Sherry (Lee) Allen), and Tina (John) Blackwell; and 17 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, November 6, 2026, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. John Hogue officiating.

Private interment will be held at a later time in the Little Sand Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery with Chris Nixon, Tufting Blanks, Josh Vaughn, Cory Reece, Daniel Scott, Richard Sims, Hunter Woody, and Jessie Chisolm serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Woody will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Friday.
