Mr. Robert Alfred Mincey, age 61, of Trion, GA, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Mincey was born April 3, 1961, in Rome, GA, son of the late Robert Lee and Jeanne Costello Mincey.  He was Baptist by faith, and was a veteran of the United States Navy.  Mr. Mincey also worked as a truck driver for 37 years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Mincey was preceded in death by grandparents, Wheeler and Bessie Mincey, John and Effie Costello; aunts and uncles, Joanne Rowland, Berlie and Tressie Mincey; and a half-brother, Tommy Rowland and a great-grandchild, Hazel.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Tudor; sons, Casey Tudor, Sean (Ida) Mincey; daughter, Jeannie (Steve) Lane; brothers, Bill (Nicole) Mincey, John (Kim) Mincey; sister, Beverly (Ted) Eden; grandchildren, Serena Mincey, Madison Mincey, MaKayla Mincey, and Stefanie Reynolds.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Mincey will be held at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Andy Tudor officiating.  Interment with military honors will follow in West Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Bill Mincey, Terry Payne, Dickie Vaughn, Zach Dixon, and Michael Mincey.  Honorary pallbearers will be all of his brothers and sisters-in-arms and Lee Broyles.

Mr. Mincey will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
