Mr. Michael Wayne Wright, Sr. age 67, of Summerville, GA, died Friday, May 10, 2024, at Advent Health Redmond.

Mr. Wright was born March 5, 1957, in Rome, GA, son of the late Forrest Elsworth Wright and Ada Elizabeth Salmon Wright.  He was Baptist by faith, and prior to his retirement, was employed as an over-the-road truck driver with Seven Hills Trucking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice K. Wright; and a brother, David Larry Wright.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Wright, Jr., David Allen (April) Wright; daughter, April (Johnny) Thompson; brother, Robert Lee (Sonya) Wright; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his girlfriend, Beverly Lawless.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Summerville Cemetery with Bro. Lloyd Gilreath officiating.  Pallbearers will be Gary Wright, Terry Wright, Steve Wright, Kenneth Wright, Billy Wright, and Todd Wright.

Mr. Wright will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 P.M. on Saturday.
