Mr. Michael Lynn Jones, age 69, of Summerville, GA, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at Halifax Hospice Center in Orange City, FL.

Mr. Jones was born June 14, 1952, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Milton "Junior" Jones and Annie Laura Timms.  He was retired from Mount Vernon Mills in Trion after 42 years in the Card Room and Cotton Warehouse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara "Bonnie" Jones; and grandparents, Clayton and Maude Timms.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Pamela Jones; grandchildren, Lincoln Jones, Holley Jones, and Brittany Jenkins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 28, 2021, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Harris officiating.  Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Jeff Hall, Jamie Ponder, Rusty Brown, Jody Stoner, Mark Schrader, and Jason Cash.  Honorary pallbearers will be and current or former employees of the Card Room or Cotton Warehouse of Mount Vernon Mills.

Mr. Jones will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Saturday.
